“If being yours means I’ll have a lifetime to get to know the version of you that comes after the heartbreak, then I’m all in. I was all in from the start.”
-Beau, Claim Me Fearlessly
In this Flipped Fairytale (a standalone in a multi-author series), Alexis brings a bear-like shifter princess and a bookshop owner together to create her version of the movie we all grew up watching.
The Beast
When she refused to shift by her twentieth birthday, she was forced into her form. A curse placed on her by her Sleuth Leader gave her six months to Mark a mate, but she didn’t care about any of it; not even if it meant that her household staff were stuck as animals or the life of the land died out. But when an enchanted book brought someone to her that chose to stay, her perception on her life began to shift.
The Reader
The most interesting thing that ever happened to Beau was when someone other than the mayor’s daughter, Giselle LeGume, entered his bookshop. After kicking her out of his shop one night, he discovered a strange leather book that told of a cursed shifter princess who refused to do anything about it. He read late into the early morning before he went home and when he returned the next day, it was gone. And so was Giselle.
Claim Me Fearlessly
A genderbent retelling of Beauty and the Beast, Claim Me Fearlessly follows shifter princess, Adele, and bookstore owner, Beau. Cursed to be stuck in her shifted form, the princess must soften her rough exterior and allow herself to face her fears of love and hope.
Almost a year after being left at the altar, Juniper Whitmore finds herself waking from a rendezvous with a twenty-two-year-old college student. She does her walk of shame looking like a train wreck through a convenience store where she runs into – quite literally - a 6’4” tattooed hottie named James. Full of embarrassment, she thanks the universe she won’t ever have to see him again… until she runs into him again at his restaurant during a horrible blind date.
Later, Juniper’s ex-fiancé shows up at her work with his pregnant fiancée to ask Juniper to take back her dog on the stipulation that she brings him to their wedding to be their ring bearer. She catches herself agreeing to go and lying about her happy life with her nonexistent boyfriend.
So, who does she call when she needs a fake date? James, the man she never wanted to see again.
Eventually, James asks her to return the favor to fend off a life ruining ex-girlfriend at a family reunion, who does whatever she can to get in the way.
Will their fake relationship blossom into more or will the events of the family reunion and Juniper’s ex-fiancé be a dealbreaker for them?

the author
It means the world to me that you are here! My stories are a part of my soul, and I’m so happy to share them with you. More often than not, I’m discovering the twists and turns of fate for the first time as my characters write their story through me. Plotting is not my strong-suit.
Just like my works, I’m an open book. I love to meet fellow book lovers and gush over our favorite book boyfriends and girlfriends. I’m also a sucker for cute creature/animal companions (as you’ll see with my works). Feel free to reach out to talk books, ask questions, or just say hi!
